Toungetied

The sunshine
always seems brighter
when the rains have stayed
longer than 3 days

and my dreams are
harder to recall
when they involve
the meaning of it all

But the words
they come so plain
trying to describe
the things we cant explain
places we cant see

but when it comes to you
your silly little grin
and the special things you do
i cant seem to find the words

I get Toungetied
trying to describe
all the crazy times
that ive had with you

and i've spent days and nights
only just to find
i'm at a loss for words
to say about you

and the flowers don't bloom
they never bloom too soon
before the Fall
takes them from us all

and the birds still fly
even though the sky
turns from day to night
they can always find the light

but when it comes to you
