What's the good word?
Well haven't you heard?
The sun is coming out today
and there's no signs of rain
So everyone stand (up and)
clap your hands (Cuz there's)
so much to be thankful for
So let's sing and dance
Cuz mama is well
and papa is proud
the children in the schoolyard
are just singing out loud
It's a Good Day
and you can't
take it away
and if you feel
like I do now
Just throw away your cares
and join the crowd!
So what should we do (with the rest of )
the days afternoon (Lets just)
gather everybody now
and sing a another tune
and a lil later on
the sun begins to fade
say hello to the evening baby
and goodbye to another day
The moon and stars are sitting high
the night illuminates
with fireworks and miracles
the sky is the stage
It was a Good Day
and you can't
take it away
and if you feel
like I do now
Just throw away your cares
and join the crowd!
