Woke up this morning
with the news on
they say there was a fire
4 lives are now gone
a poor boy gets desperate
and kills his fellow man
all for just 2 dollars
so hard to understand
How a baby boy gets born
in a hospital one day
only to be taken
by a woman with another name
Life is hard
and the days are long
cant we go back
to where we started from
Cuz Ohhhh Ive grown tired
of this World
and the Thieves and Liars
and Ohhh its hard to see
when there's love in front of me
Preacher man says
that the end is near
not sure if im happy
or if i should fear
change is gonna come
one day i know
but how long will it take
my bones are growing old
I guess ill just be patient
this life is a marathon
and the prize for enduring
salvation is won
Life is hard
but Love is strong
